Pouya is ZIA Law Firm's Founding Attorney. He has valuable experience building companies from the ground up and advising his clients from conception to launch. His entrepreneurial and technical backgrounds complement his experience by giving him deep understanding of business and technology issues. This allows him to put contractual terms and clauses into context, telescope between minute details and the bigger picture, and understand the technical language and requirements of Silicon Valley professionals.
His interdisciplinary background and pervasive commitment to quality allow him to formulate effective, practical, and creative solutions that permit his clients to best achieve their objectives. He is comfortable working with companies experiencing rapid growth, because he has served as the lead legal counsel for multiple start-up companies.
His passion and work ethic are extremely strong as proven by establishing his first company while pursuing his undergraduate degree at age 19 and his second company while studying for the California Bar Examination. Income from his companies paid for his education, allowing him to be a first-generation college student.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of numerous honor societies such as Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key International Honour Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS), Psi Chi, and the Law Forum.
